Founder, Administrator, AMI Guide for Primary and Assistants to Infancy

Ms. Brissman is the mother of four children and three grandchildren:

Adam, who founded and co-owns his own commercial roofing company, Roofed Right America;

Sarah, Army Intelligence Veteran of the Iraqi Freedom War, mother of Nathan and Noah, and student, working for her Masters degree in Accounting, at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee;

I have another son Paul, who is a U.S. Marine, who is married to a lovely woman named Kalika, and who together have a daughter named Clara.

And Hannah, who is an excellent student and musician in the 11th grade

Born and raised in Chicago, Ms. Brissman has worked with children in Montessori schools since 1987 as a Teacher’s Assistant for both the Primary and Elementary environments.

After having moved to Cedarburg, Wisconsin in 1990, Ms. Brissman home-schooled her three older children for ten years.

Between 1992 and 2005, Ms. Brissman completed her training and became accredited to teach all three levels of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Ms. Brissman has also participated as a Training Assistant for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd through Marquette University.

Several years after the birth of her fourth child, in 2002, Ms. Brissman founded MorningStar Montessori in Cedarburg and established the Board of Directors, of which she holds the office of president.

In 2005, Ms. Brissman graduated from the AMI Montessori Training Center in Phoenix, Arizona, with an AMI Montessori Primary (3-6) accreditation.

In 2011, Ms. Brissman graduated from the AMI Montessori Institute in Denver, Colorado, with an additional AMI Montessori Assistants to Infancy (Birth – 3) accreditation, with the option of teaching parenting classes.

Ms. Brissman has served the community as an appointed member of the Cedarburg Board of Appeals, youth T-ball and baseball coach, soccer team manager, Girl Scout Leader, home-school activist and home-school conference workshop leader. Currently, Ms. Brissman serves as the Chairman of the Cedarburg Board of Appeals.

Ms. Brissman, utilizing the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd training, has served her church as a catechist for 9 to 14 year old children and special needs children; she serves as a music minister by singing in the choir and, later, playing the guitar for Masses since 1991.

Ms. Brissman looks forward to completing her own college education, double majoring in Biology and Theology, and expanding MorningStar Montessori to include the Assistants to Infancy, Elementary and Adolescent Farm Environments in conjunction with an active and participatory Retirement Community.


Wisconsin AMI Montessori Trained Infant Community Teacher Ms. Nataliia 

Volunteer Cedarburg Montessori teachers assistantAs a native of the Ukraine, Ms. Nataliia resides here with her husband in Milwaukee.

Ms. Nataliia recevied her AMI Assistants to Infancy training from the AMI Montessori Training Institute of St. Louis. 

Nataliia received her bachelors degree in the Ukraine at Pedagogical University Vinnitsa. Her subjects of interest were pedagogics and methods of secondary education.

Ms. Nataliia has an excellent rapport with the children, regularly helps them to bake bread, sings and speaks Russian, plays the piano, and teaches the children everything from origami to stitching.  

Ms. Nataliia works at MorningStar Montessori Academy Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. 







Cedarburg AMI Montessori trained teacher Ms. Olga 


Olga Smolyakova is a native of Kazakhstan, and has her Bachelors degree in Specialty Finance from the Academy of Labor and Social Affairs.  Back home, she was the head of a children's dance group, and loves to organize events for children. She likes to travel, read, and spend time with her husband.

Ms. Olga recevied her AMI Assistants to Infancy training from the AMI Montessori Training Institute of St. Louis. 






Cedarburg Montessori Assistant Teacher Yajaira Robles

Ms. Yajaira is the extraordinary housekeeper. Ms. Yajaira is from Puerto Rico! When she is not working she loves spending time with her husband and daughter Xomalia.

 She also thinks everyone should learn to speak Spanish. She says it’s good for you!
