MorningStar Montessori School Founder, Vera Brissman (Ms. Vera)

Founder, Administrator, AMI Guide for Primary and Assistants to Infancy

Ms. Brissman is the mother of four children and three grandchildren:

Adam, who founded and co-owns his own commercial roofing company, Roofed Right America;

Sarah, who is an Army Intelligence veteran of the Iraqi Freedom War, has her Master's degree in Accounting, and is working towards her CPA. She also is the mother of two young sons.

Paul, who is a U.S. Marine, works for Roofed Right America, and enjoys time with his lovely wife and daughter.

And Hannah, who is an excellent student in the 12th grade.

Born and raised in Chicago, Ms. Brissman has worked with children in Montessori schools since 1987 as a Teacher’s Assistant for both the Primary and Elementary environments.

After having moved to Cedarburg, Wisconsin in 1990, Ms. Brissman home-schooled her three older children for ten years.

Between 1992 and 2005, Ms. Brissman completed her training and became accredited to teach all three levels of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Ms. Brissman has also participated as a Training Assistant for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd through Marquette University.

Several years after the birth of her fourth child, in 2002, Ms. Brissman founded MorningStar Montessori in Cedarburg and established the Board of Directors, of which she holds the office of president.

In 2005, Ms. Brissman graduated from the AMI Montessori Training Center in Phoenix, Arizona, with an AMI Montessori Primary (3-6) accreditation.

In 2011, Ms. Brissman graduated from the AMI Montessori Institute in Denver, Colorado, with an additional AMI Montessori Assistants to Infancy (Birth – 3) accreditation, with the option of teaching parenting classes.

Ms. Brissman has served the community as an appointed member and Chairperson of the Cedarburg Board of Appeals, youth T-ball and baseball coach, soccer team manager, Girl Scout Leader, home-school activist and home-school conference workshop leader.  

Ms. Brissman, utilizing the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd training, has served her church as a catechist for 9 to 14 year old children and special needs children; she serves as a music minister by singing in the choir and, playing the guitar for Masses since 1991.

Ms. Brissman looks forward to completing her own college education, double majoring in Biology and Theology, and expanding MorningStar Montessori to include  Elementary and Adolescent Farm Environments in conjunction with an active and participatory Retirement Community.

MorningStar Montessori AMI Nido Guide, Ms. Natalia

As a native of the Ukraine, Ms. Natalia resides here with her family in Milwaukee. 

Ms. Natalia received her AMI Assistants to Infancy training from the AMI Montessori Training Institute of St. Louis.

Ms. Natalia received her Bachelor's degree in the Ukraine at Pedagogical University Vinnitsa, with a major in Secondary Education.

Ms. Natalia has an excellent rapport with young children. She especially loves to sing with them and speak Russian with them.

In her free time, she is an expert at needlepoint and plays the piano. 

            
   
 
 

MorningStar Montessori AMI Infant Community Guide, Ms. Olga 

Ms. Olga is a native of Kazakhstan, and has her Bachelor's degree in Specialty Finance from the Academy of Labor and Social Affairs.  Back home, she was the head of a children's dance group, and loves to organize events for children. She likes to travel, read, and spend time with her husband.

Ms. Olga recevied her AMI Assistants to Infancy training from the AMI Montessori Training Institute of St. Louis.

 Morningstar Montessori Teacher's Assistant in Nido, Ms. Yajaira 

Ms. Yajaira is the Teacher's Assistant in our beautiful Nido environment. She is very kind and loving teacher. Ms. Yajaira is from Puerto Rico! When she is not working she loves to spending time with her husband and duaghter. 

She also thinks everyone should learn to speak Spanish. She says its good for you!

                    
   

MorningStar Montessori Teacher's Assistant in Infant Community, Ms. Verenice

Ms. Verenice is from Mexico. She speaks both English and Spanish. Ms. Verenice is the oldest of six children at home. She has been playing soccer for 7 years! She love to travel and spend time with her baby sister.

 Morningstar Montessori Teacher's Assistant in Nido and Infant Community, Ms. Siheng

Ms. Siheng is from China. She speaks both Mandarin Chinese and English. Ms. Siheng joined the Morningstar Montessori Community as a Teacher's Assistant in both Nido and Infant Community envirinments. Recently she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Beloit College with an Eduacation and Youth Studies major and minor Japanese. Ms. Siheng has worked, volunteered and observed in various educational settings. She has extensive fieldwork experience with students of all age groups and different cultural bachgrounds. Ms, Siheng also has conducted many reaserch projects studying students of different age groups. Finding her true passion to be wrking with infants and toddlers, Ms. Siheng is currently pursuing the AMI Assistancy(0-3) trainging under Judi Orien in Denver, and is expeting her Diploma in the Summer of 2018. 

Outside of school, Ms. Siheng likes to be outdoors and explore nature. She also likes to read, cook, bake, practice yoga, watche movies, and spend time with her friends.

 

                  
 
 

MorningStar Montessori Teacher's Assistant for Children's House, Ms. Chelsey

Ms. Chelsey is the Teacher's Assistant in Children's House. She is currently studying at UWM towards her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She brings her Mid-western kindness and cheerfulness with her to school everyday.  When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her lovely family.

Morningstar Montessori Business Manager, Ms. Kate

Ms. Kate is Irish-American. She is our satellite member of the Morningstar Montessori team! She currently resides in Seattle, and regularly comes back to Wisconsin to consult and assist as needed! She has her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrative from UWM, has her private pilot's license, and she loves to fly seaplanes and her father's tail-dragger on the weekends. 

 
   

MorningStar Montessori Administrative Office Assistant, Ms. Nuer

Ms. Nuer is from East Turkestan (XinJiang). She received her Bachelor's  degree in English Literature and Translation in China at Shanghai International Studies University. She speaks Mandarin Chinese, Turkish and English. She also works as an interpreter for various services. She is kind and hard-working. She loves to read, cook, play tennis, and spend time with her son.

Morningstar Montessori House Keeper, Ms. Irina

Ms. Irina , who is from Turkmenistan, is our superstar House Keeper! With her hard-work and multi-tasking, she brings organizations to our kitchen and kindness to each classroom!
