Volunteer for Milwaukee Area Montessori School
Parents, Families, and Members of the Community are always invited and welcome to volunteer.
There are many Cedarburg Montessori volunteer opportunities:
- help wash the dishes and the floor after lunch
- help clean the school environment and facilities
- help maintain and plant the gardens with the children
- listen to the children read
- sew materials, such as: aprons and tablecloths
- make wooden materials for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd work, such as: small boxes, low tables and the walls of Jerusalem – we have the design manual
- make clay figures for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd work
- teach Suzuki music to the children
- build an outdoor obstacle course
- share a special skill with the children, such as: woodworking, etc.
- and more!
Parents and visitors are welcome to come and speak to the class about occupations, cultural excursions, foreign languages, religious holidays, ethnic traditions, music, dance, art, hobbies, etc.
Please Note: Due to the consideration of the children’s safety, it is a school policy and requirement that anyone who works with the children, other than a visitor, must have a background check.
